After today's lesson, I can be sure of one thing – I've mastered the moon phases!
The children had the most fun creating moon phases from Oreo cookies. Everyone had the task of recreating the stages they learned, "sculpting" the cream accordingly – and that's how they created a new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter... It turned out that cookies can be not only a delicious snack, but also an excellent learning aid! Thanks to this tasty experiment, everyone easily remembered how the moon changes and which phases it goes through. Learning by doing (and having a little sweetness) is a great idea!
