Searching for Signs of Autumn
As part of our STEM Adventure project, we set off on a little autumn treasure hunt. Armed with two observation sheets—one in Polish and one in English—we explored the outdoors in search of the season’s secrets.
Along the way, we discovered and took a closer look at:
mighty oak trees and their shiny acorns,
conifers like pine, spruce, and larch, each offering its own unique cone,
colorful deciduous trees, including bright rowan berries and beautifully shaped maple leaves,
mysterious forest mushrooms (not edible, but fascinating to observe—and we made sure to leave them undisturbed),
delicate wild rose growing quietly by the path
